The Bear Claw™ Saw has break-through X-Y-Z motion technology, which gives these
machines remarkable speed, crash protection, long-life, and low maintenance. The technology is patent-applied. The axial
drive systems give it CNC-like speed without the CNC cost or complexity. The optional Force Control™ system regulates feed
speed to optimize blade performance and avoid crashes. The unique axial rail-guide system can be field-replaced or rotated
to expose a new running surface for 3 times the life. The optional long-belt X-Y drive system replaces conventional rack &
pinion for lower maintenance.
The Bear Claw Saw is currently available in the Bear Claw 72 model only. The Bear Claw 72 can accommodate up to a 72" saw
blade and 75 horsepower. It comes standard with 17 feet of cut travel (X axis) and 17 feet of gantry travel (Y axis). It
has a maximum of 30" of vertical travel (Z axis).
