The axial guide system utilizes grooved rollers with a Gothic arch profile running on a round rail. This system provides precise, easy rolling and high load capacity in both the radial and axial directions. The system has performance similar to expensive but relatively delicate linear guide systems but with exceptional resistance to dirt and contamination that even common flat guide ways and rollers can't match. The rollers have integral, sealed bearings that are lubed for life. The rolling action of the rollers on the round rail sheds dirt and the original shafting is treated with a rust-resistant finish, which makes the system highly resistant to the harsh stone-fabrication environment. The axial rail-guide system allows the use of common hardened and ground round shafting that can be field-replaced or rotated to expose a new running surface for 3 times the life. The renewable rail system combined with the optional long-belt drive system gives the saw virtually unlimited life with easy low-cost maintenance.

The guide rollers are mounted in proprietary housings that accommodate multiple rollers for increased load bearing capacity. Jack screws and a torque wrench are used to distribute and balance the load evenly among the rollers. Firm rubber pads under the jack screws act like load levelers and dampeners to further balance the load. The mounting system enables rollers to be changed out quickly and easily if necessary.
