The Thunderhead is a rugged saw with a proven heritage dating back 60 years. Today, the Thunderhead is available with the most modern
advances in drive technology including SSI’s proprietary Long Belt drive and Bear Claw™ force control systems. The Series is available in
three models representing a range of prices and sophistication. The CS model is the lowest price model and yet has the same rugged platform
as the most expensive model. The CS has manual controls and can be equipped with the most popular options, which allows us to manufacture it
at the highest efficiency to save you money. The CG model is the intermediate price model that can be equipped with automation and touch-screen
controls. This is the preferred model for granite countertop shops and can be equipped with most of the popular standard options. The CA model
is the high-end model that can be equipped with any standard option. This machine is the preferred model for industrial users who need more power,
a larger blade, more Z axis travel, and the most sophisticated automation for continuous hands-off operation. This model can be equipped with a
profiler electronic package for machining architectural shapes. The CA machine is the only model in the Thunderhead Series that can be built with
custom modifications and options to suit your very special needs. Dual Head Rip Sawing, Conveyorized Material Handling, and Unitized Table-Saw are
